What are the notecards that can be used on quizzes or tests?
For many of the tests and quizzes, the students will be able to use notecards during the test/quiz. Card must be the approved size for that test and must be handwritten and original (no xerox copies, reduced, typed, etc). Students may only use one card and may not share cards. The card can have any info on it the student desires and may be written in any color, etc. The cards will gradually decrease in size as the year goes on. I will collect the card with the test. Purpose of the card: 1. Student will review, condense, and organize the info. from his/her notes onto the notecard (cards are usually too small to include the long version of all the applicable notes). 2. Having a notecard lowers the stress level, which gives a better opportunity to assess the knowledge instead of test taking ability.
