When a water heating option is used, set the water heater to deliver at least 120°F water to the dishwasher. If a water heating option is not used or available, then 140°F inlet water is needed. To check the water temperature, place a thermometer in a glass and set it in the sink below the faucet, allow hot water to run into the glass until the temperature stabilizes and take a reading. Adjust the water heater accordingly.
