What are the nicest cities in Africa that not too many people know about?
Libreville, Gabon is a pleasant West African city and has many supermarkets and offices. Praia, Cape Verde is a lot like a Brazilian town but a lot more quiet and there are no high rise apartment buildings. Abuja, Nigeria is the capital of the largest city in Africa, Nigeria. The reason why this city is not very well known is because it is relatively new and the capital was just switched to Abuja, not too long ago (I think in the later part of the 20th century) Abuja is a planned city, so much of it is still under construction, many new projects are under construction, such as office complexes, hotels, suburbs and i think a shopping mall. Abuja is very expensive and has many wealthy people in it, the poorer people tend to live in the outskirts/outside the city and the richer tend to live in the city limits.
