To give players a reason to play vanilla Scrin, EALA has added a couple of new units to it as well. The most unique of these is the Mechapede. The Mechapede is built as just a defenseless head, but can be upgraded with up to eight segments to form the body. These segments can range from anti-air plasma disc launchers to weapons that spew acid.
