What are the negatives of the main car safety features?
One negative of airbags is questions on Yahoo! Answers from drivers who incorrectly think that airbags are supposed to deploy in all crashes in which the car is going fast enough. This is not the case; an airbag that did so would be very dangerous and probably illegal. However, many drives have accidents of types that should not cause their airbags to deploy, and, when their airbags work properly, and do not deploy, they post questions here asking what the speed is above which airbags should always deploy (there is none) or if they can sue (probably not, since the airbags did what they should).
