What are the negatives of my Shadowrun experience?
1. Graphics – they’re not crappy. But they’re no where NEAR up to par. You should see what’s coming out on the 360 and PC this fall. This game needs a MAJOR graphics buff if it’s ever going to compete in a market of similar games. 2. It doesn’t set itself apart – a good chunk of what Shadowrun does is very “me too”. The tech/magic thing is just another way to add a few small gimmicks to a straightforward FPS. 3. The map I played was confusing – There were so many bridges and pillars and stuff, you really HAD to use your “enhanced vision”, and it was more of a distraction than anything else. You’ll be wandering around wondering what to do next, in some cases. That’s especially true if there is a single player “flip-the-switch puzzle based campaign mode” like other FPSs. 4. No “leveling” system exists between multiplayer games – by this, I mean that it’s NOT like Halo 2. As you play more matches, the progress in your skill set is not retained. So it’ll be mass confusion when people begin
