WHAT ARE THE NATURALIZATION REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A CITIZEN?
1 Be at least 18 years old 2 Have been a legal permanent resident (a person with a green card) for at least the last five years (or three years,if married to a U.S. citizen). You will need a “green card” (I-551 or I-151). 3 Have been continuously living in the U.S. for at least five years, and have been physically present for at least halfof that time (2 years, 6 months), and have not been outside the U.S. for more than one year at a time.
