What are the names of the major Christian Denominations?
The largest denomination is the Catholic Church, sometimes called the Roman Catholic Church. This is the Latin Rite version of Catholicism. There are also Melkite Catholics, Orthodox Catholics, Eastern Oriental Catholics and Malabar Rite Catholics. In Europe, Lutherans and Anglicans are large denominations. In the USA, Anglicans are called Episcopalians. The Baptist Church is a large worldwide church, along with Pentecostals and Revival Christians.
