What are the names of the countries known as “Scandinavia”?
As a rule, the following countries are included: Denmark, Norway, Sweden and now Finland. http://goeurope.about.com/cs/scandinavia… However different maps say these countries as well as Iceland and some maps include even more countries. http://www.scantours.com/maps/map_of_sca… From the world atlas – more like Nordic Countries Originally the scandanacian countries included the peninsula countries of Norway and Sweden as well as Denmark. Modern version now include Finland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands http://www.worldatlas.com/webimage/count… No two sites listed the exact same countries. Interesting!
