What are the Myths about Thickness ?
– Our vast experience of more than 30 years has taught us that it is not possible to measure the exact thickness of “Renovo” Synthetic Plaster on all areas where it is applied, mainly because of grooves and undulations in the Cement Plaster. – Secondly, the thickness of Synthetic Plaster does not play any role / importance to achieve its advantage. For example, although the thickness of the Cement Plaster is 12mm to 20mm; still reputed, quality-conscious Architects & Builders prefer to use “Renovo” Synthetic Plaster which is 2mm to 3mm thick over the Cement Plaster considering its advantages. “Renovo” hides the undulations of the Cement Plaster and protects the structure under it, which otherwise is not possible with mere application of thick Cement Plaster. – Adding cheap minerals in a larger quantity can increase the thickness of “Renovo”; but then it looses its other important properties for which it is being applied. – The function of “Renovo” Synthetic Plaster is just like the ski
