You will sleep in dormitories with anything from 5 to 30 other people, usually bunk bed style. You will be served dinner and breakfast. The food is normally basic but filling. You can buy bottled water, soft drinks, tea, coffee, wine, beer and snacks. Refuges do not normally have showers and do not have running water at all times, nor is the water drinkable. This depends on location, season and temperature.
