What are the mountain huts like in Iceland?
Accommodation in Iceland is expensive and often very basic. Those well -travelled clients will find the comparison with similarly priced accommodations in mainland Europe to be disappointing. However, we source good quality, competitive huts, guesthouses and hotels on the itinerary. The mountain huts can be communal, often consisting of just a bed and shared facilities. Running water, toilets and electricity may be inconsistent or non-existent. Cleanliness is not always assured.
