We recommend the use of SABiosciences RT2 qPCR-Grade RNA Isolation Kit (PA-001). Cultured cells, and freshly isolated white blood cells, may be harvested by centrifugation, and used directly with this kit. For the isolation of high quality RNA from animal tissues, we recommend first homogenizing the tissue and performing phenol/chloroform extraction with Trizol (Invitrogen), prior to utilizing the SABiosciences RT2 qPCR-Grade RNA Isolation Kit (PA-001).
