What are the most pressing issues in our community?
United Way of Greater Topeka conducts needs assessments to keep community needs/goals at the forefront of our charge. In 2006, our most recent needs assessment revealed that early childhood education and development, youth character development, job skills, crime, arts and downtown redevelopment were all areas of significant concern. United Way collaborates with local non-profits, city, county, and federal governments and businesses to create a network of services that address our community needs.
