Please name a few Romanian artists who have earned name & fame internationally. R. Romania has a rich tradition and a truly immense heritage when it comes to music and dance, both classical and folk. For years, dancers and musicians from Romania have been stars on international stages such as the Opera in Vienna or the Royal Ballet in London. I could mention the principal ballerina with the Royal Ballet in London, the young Romanian Alina Cojocaru; until recently, prima ballerina of the Opera in Vienna was also a Romanian. Incidentally, for many years, the director of the Opera House in Vienna has been a Romanian who is also the director of the Enescu festival.
