What are the most important parts to building the cubby?
• Read the instructions thoroughly, and be sure of the procedure before you start and if you are not sure read them again throughout the construction and installation. • When you begin installing the cubby make sure the floor is level and flat using a spirit level before you start to install the walls. If you don’t get this right you will have trouble with the installation of the roof panels. Please read the instructions thoroughly • You should paint or stain your cubby as soon as it has been finished to seal the timbers and maintain its good looks. • Treated pine cubby’s will have some splitting of the cladding boards as time goes on. This is a result of the timber drying out in the weather. We do not warranty against splitting. The western red cedar cladding is better quality cladding (that’s why there is a big difference in the pricing) so splitting will not be so prevalent.
