What are the most important key points about the SMarTconn product line ?
SMarTconn connectors integrate either the unique anchoring solution (patent pending) or the “total co-planar adapting” contact pins (patent pending) — and sometimes both! By using these innovations, CTE mismatch is eliminated. PCB or connector housing bow is no longer a concern. Not all SMarTconn connectors require an anchoring solution, but it is recommended for connectors having 2 or 3 poles. SMarTconn pin strips will use the “total co-planar adapting” contact pins in the near future. However, the current pins have an extremely strong retention force (i.e. 2 lbs / pole). Co-planarity of this product is ensured to be within the current SMT industrial norms (0.15 mm) through 100% quality inspection.
