What are the most common code violations?
• Zoning Compliance – boat and RVs parked in front yards, junk cars, abandoned vehicles, lot maintenance • Lot and Lawn Maintenance – growth cannot exceed 20 inches • Waste Materials and Trash – must be properly disposed of and not stored on property • Construction – most construction projects require a permit • Unsafe Buildings – abandoned buildings will be “red tagged” by code enforcement and the building department. These must be repaired or removed.
