What are the most common causes of dermatitis?
The most commonly reported agents causing dermatitis include: • rubber chemicals and materials, such as rubber gloves, • wet work, • shampoos, soaps and cleaners. The Health and Safety Executive says that solvents, some food (including onions, flour and shellfish), oils and greases, dusts, acids and alkalis, some hair dyes, UV cured printing inks, adhesives, and cement and even some plants, like chrysanthemums can all cause dermatitis.
