What are the most child friendly exhibits at the British Museum?

When I was little and my parents took me to the British museum, I loved the Egypt room – the mummies fascinated me. I also liked the butterflies – they were so pretty and I didn’t think of them as bugs! My favourite museum of all was the Science museum as it had an area especially for children with buttons to press! (It was a very long time ago!) That museum is even more child friendly now. I think the trick would be to whisk round the museum quickly and see what your little’un stops to look at themselves. You may find that they are interested in something completely different to any suggestion here!
