What are the more egregious etiquette blunders you have seen in business e-mails?
This was selected as Best Answer Hi Karly, One could list several blunders. Of course, they leave a bad taste if they are not perceived to be innocent by the recipient. Such a blunder has the potential of ruining the relationship with the client. However, this depends on what level of unprofessional treatment the client can tolerate. 1. A man is addressed as a woman or vice versa. 2. The name of the client is mis-spelt (in an offensive way). 3. A meeting/ delivery is re-scheduled without any mention of the reason for the same. Worse, there is no email to state the delayed meeting or delivery. 4. An email demanding an action is received by the client from a no-reply account but there is no mention of any email address in case of any questions. 5. They highlight some text with ALL CAPS/ extra-large font/ red color. 6. The email contains confidential information but it is additionally marked (To or Cc) to a third party unnecessarily. 7. The author swears or uses offensive words or phrases
