What are the minimum state auto insurance requirements?
The minimum requirements for every state can be found at the state insurance commissioner’s website. Texas requires all drivers to purchase Liability insurance with minimum coverage amount being $25,000 for each injured person, up to a total of $50,000 per accident, and $25,000 for property damage. These will change over time and drivers will be required to comply with the new limits as their policies are issued or renewed on or after the effective dates.
