What are the minimum requirements to connect to the network?
Information Technology has issued these minimum system requirements in order to access the network: • A computer with TCP/IP and a web browser (i.e., Internet Explorer) installed. • Ethernet Card • If this feature was not standard on your computer, it can be purchased from the campus bookstore or a local retailer. • Ethernet Cable • The Information Technology office does not provide Ethernet cables. These are available for purchase from the campus bookstore or a local retailer. • Antivirus Software • Each personal computer used to access the network needs antivirus software that will periodically update itself. Information Technology does not supply this software but will provide insight on good products.
