What are the minimum requirements for education or work experience?
To participate in the DV Lottery System you must have at least a “high school education or its equivalent”. This means you must have successfully completed a 12-year course with includes elementary and secondary education in the United States; or in another country where the successful completion of a secondary education is comparable to a high school education in the United States; or within the past five years, have 2 years’ work experience in an occupation requiring at least 2 years’ training or experience.
