What are the minimum qualifications I need to do a HNC and HND?
Admission to HNC You should have minimum of two passes for GCE A/L and IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. However if you have two passes for GCE Advance level in English medium or GCSE, you don’t need to have IELTS 5.5. The two passes also should be relevant to your course you hope to study. If you have relevant work experience with IELTS 5.5, you could still apply for relevant courses which these two colleges may consider. Admission to HND There is no direct entry to HND. HNC is the first year of the HND. Therefore HNC qualification is needed to do HND.
