You need a 3.5 inch disk drive on a machine in the OASIS network. The SCISWeb and SCISCD CD-ROM download to a 3.5 inch disk. The 3.5 inch disk drive can be on a workstation, or an enquiry terminal. (Remember, that to use an enquiry terminal as a data entry machine, enter your teacher-librarian level password when logging on to that machine.) If you are about to embark on the purchase of a new 3.5 inch drive, it is preferable to have your 3.5 inch drive installed as Drive A. This will have other benefits, e.g. loading update disks etc., that come in that format.
