Scores of 500 (150 on the new GRE exam) or more on the verbal and quantitative portions of the GRE are strongly recommended. Analytical writing scores are also evaluated. Applicants with one or more subtest scores below 400 (145 on the new GRE exam) will not be considered. You may retake your GREs to obtain a higher score. For the last few years, the average GRE scores for accepted applicants have been as follows: 1224 for the combined verbal and quantitative, and 4.28 for analytical writing.
