Grant requests may be made in the amounts of $2500 or $5000. Grants will only be awarded in these amounts, therefore, if you only need $2000 for your project, you should indicate what the remaining $500 would be used for, for example general operating support. 5. Does my organization have to be located in Montgomery County, Maryland, or in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia (Berkeley, Jefferson, Morgan Counties) in order to apply for a FACES Grant for a program serving those areas? Yes. There are so many worthy non-profit organizations located in these areas that we are restricting applications to groups actually based in these specific counties. In West Virginia, preference will be given to organizations serving residents of Morgan and Jefferson Counties.
