What are the milestones during my project period?
A5: For a part-time student the following is required: 1. Provide a written summary of progress to your supervisor on the first Monday of each month during their project. You may post, fax or e-mail it to your supervisor. 2. Draft literature review at 4 months and first full version of the literature review at 6 months (normally October) 3. Draft statement of progress at 9 months, including an outline of the final dissertation. (normally early January) 4. Attend York for 3 study weeks (exact dates to be agreed with supervisor but nominally) 1. Start of Project: Literature review 2. +9 months: Mid-project report 3. +15 months: Final write-up 5.
