What are the metaphors of Jesus Christ?
The word is a metaphor for Jesus Christ. John 1.14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. (Joh 1:14 ESV) Again, in Revelation 20.13, we find that it’s just a name that he goes by, not a thought or his words prior to the incarnation, but that he is the personification of the revelation of God through the prophets and the law. He is the embodiment of the full revelation of the father to mankind, and the church.
