FINRA provides four mechanisms for submitting files: FTP via a private network, e-mail attachment via the Internet using SMTP mail protocol, IFT (Internet File Transfer) and the Web via a browser interface. These mechanisms are described in Section 3 of the OATS Reporting Technical Specifications .
