What are the measures to be taken in paddy under late planted conditions both in nursery and main field ?
A. In nursery spray 2% urea solution & 3% MOP solution if it is late by 10 days. In main field transplant 4 – 6 seedlings per hill instead of 2 – 3 seedlings per hill under normal planting conditions . Apply the 1/3 of additional dose of nitrogen then the recommended dose in two splits one at basal and another split at panicle initiation instead of 3 splits.
