What are the meaning of computer terms “32bit” and “64bit”?
hi mate “32bit” and “64bit” are the names used to describe how many bits wide a computer is designed to work at bits are memory addresses, or other data units are those that are at most 32 bits (4 octets) wide.and 64bit system use 64bits or 8 octets earlier computers such as the popular commodore amiga were classed as 8bit machines and then the early home p.c,s such as the ibm,s used a 16bit system to discover how many bits your p.c uses right click my computer(computer in vista) and select properties, then the system properties windows will open, look in there and you will see the version of windows running and the either 32 or 64bit pc the main difference with the 2 systems is that 64bit computers can support both 64bit and 32bit operating systems however 32bit computers will only support 32bit operating systems hope this helps, any problems let me know good luck mate !
