What are the maximum pixel widths for proper viewing at different resolutions?
One thing to remember is that just because we refer to a resolution as say, 800×600 that does not mean you can make the page 800×600 and expect it to show in one screen. You must allow space for edges, menu bars, etc. Normally here, the width will be of the most concern. A horizontal scroll is rarely desirable and is another mark of a novice designer.
