What are the matriculation requirements for MAE?
• Read our matriculation policy first then apply online at http://www.engr.ncsu.edu/students/matriculation. • The MAE matriculation committee meets once a year at the end of each spring semester to consider these requests. • Decisions are based primarily on academic performance in engineering-related courses (math, physics, engineering, etc). • Students who feel they have extenuating circumstances may submit a letter of appeal to cheryl_tran@ncsu.edu during the final two weeks of the spring semester. • Although these cases will be considered, chances of being accepted are slim, and the student should have an alternate major chosen as back-up.
