What are the mathematical prerequisites for AP Physics at Hun?
Concurrent or previous registration in a calculus class is absolutely required to enroll in AP Physics. There will be no exceptions to this policy — do not even bother asking. The curriculum of the AP Physics C exam is explicitly calculus-based; the course material is also explicitly calculus-based. The goal of AP Physics is to instill both problem-solving skills and an appreciation of Physics that simply cannot be achieved with the use of the calculus. It is recommended (but not required) that students be enrolled in an AP-level calculus (AB or BC), not the Honors Calculus class.
