What are the major responsibilities of student athletic trainers?
A Student Athletic Trainers main responsibility is to learn! Students will be taught a wide variety of information in the classroom setting and then be expected to perform techniques taught in class during experience hours so skills become perfected. Students Athletic Trainers will be responsible for helping to maintain the training room, perform taping/bandaging of athletes before practice and games, and also be a crucial part of the emergency response team. All students must be certified in CPR. Some traveling is required.
