What are the major predators of Richardsons ground squirrels?
Many predators favour eating Richardson’s ground squirrels. The most significant ones are North American badgers (Taxidea taxus), long-tailed weasels (Mustela frenata), and Swainson’s hawks (Buteo swainsoni).
