What are the major health concerns for the Bull Terrier?
Unfortunately the Bull Terrier has been affected greatly by the gene which carried deafness. It is most common in the white Bull Terrier but can occasionally show up in colored Bull Terriers as well. Kidney failure is another plague of the bull terrier, this can be detected early on though testing. Patella Luxation is another concern which causes lameness in the Bull Terriers knee joint, although most cases of this have not been seen widely spread in the US. And of course depending on where you live and the climate there Bull Terriers can have issues with dry skin, finding the right foods and correct amount of exercise will often cure this problem.
