A. NTX is built on Star Imaging s ColorStarNT RIP software engine. It also includes Xerox’s proprietary Automatic Image Enhancement (AIE) algorithm which can result in prints of images that are better than the original. For example, a user may scan an old faded or over exposed image, but by turning on AIE within the NTX RIP, the result is a significantly improved printed output with better contrast, color, and sharpness.
