What are the major differences between the Trick Flow Street Heat, Track Heat, and “R” intake manifolds?
While the Street Heat and Track Heat intake manifolds use the same exact lower, the upper on the Track Heat has runners that are 3″ shorter inside the manifold. While they look identical from the outside, the Track Heat is more suited for forced induction or higher RPM applications and the Street Heat is more suited for idle-5500 RPM applications. The “R” intake is definately more of an intake for high RPM or large cubic inch motors. The “R” intake is not designed for a 302 cubic inch motor unless it is used with 15+psi boost.
