What are the major changes in the new PSAT and SAT (Reasoning)?
The PSAT does not contain analogies or quantitative comparisons. Test makers have added paragraph-length passages with one or two questions per paragraph. The new SAT (Reasoning) is similar to the new PSAT and includes a multiple choice grammar section (similar to what has been on the PSAT for a few years). In addition, it includes a 25-minute essay. The new SAT includes Algebra II concepts, but the new PSAT does not.
