What are the main problems Executives face in implementing Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in their Organizations?
There are several issues that Executives are challenged with when it comes to corporate sustainability: The first is that the definition of “CSR” is forever evolving and the requirements placed on executives and management shifts with public perspective and perception. For example, Wal-mart released its Sustainability Index this week which over time will require suppliers and vendors to verify individual product sustainability thus permitting Wal-mart to educate its consumers on product sustainability and eventually overall product sustainability.
