What Are The Main Features Of The Human Skin?
The human skin is amazing. Every human being has approximately six pound of skin that covers their entire body. The main purpose of the skin is to protect all of the internal organ and prevent them from drying up. The human skin also protects the body from harmful bacteria and other foreign bodies that could possibly enter the internal organs and damage them. The skin has two parts: the epidermis and the dermis. The epidermis is the outer layer of skin cells, hair, nails, and sweat glands. It is the part of the skin that everyone sees. The dermis is the inner layer of tissues that also involves nerves and blood vessels. The skin is very flexible. It is so flexible that it allows the human people to bend and straight. The skin has hundreds of nerves, so that when something harms the skins, the nerves send the brain the pain message.
