What are the main features of the EVOLT™ E-330?
The EVOLT E-330 introduces a milestone in digital SLR technology: Live View. A common complaint of digital SLR users is that they are unable to preview an image on the camera’s LCD screen in real time as they can on point-and-shoot digital cameras. Digital SLRs have a viewfinder mirror and shutter between the sensor and the lens until the moment of exposure, while digital point-and-shoot cameras contuously project the image onto the sensor. In its tradition of innovation, Olympus has incorporated a second sensor in the EVOLT E-330’s TTL Optical Porro Finder that enables real-time Live View on the camera’s LCD screen. In addition, Olympus has included a Live View mode that captures the image from the 7.5 megapixel Live MOS imaging sensor in real time and displays it on the LCD screen prior to shooting. The 2.5-inch, high-resolution HyperCrystal LCD screen is articulated so that the screen can be tilted out from the camera body for viewing while shooting from high and low angles. The EVO
