What are the main employees obligations under the new OHS Act?
• Be aware of possible hazards • Report hazards to employers • Consult with employers regarding hazard identification, assessment and control • Cooperate with review of processes. • Cooperate with their employer in completing a Risk Identification Checklist, Risk Assessment Form and Risk Control Form • Report to their employer or employee representative any problems observed or experienced with tasks involving repetitive or forceful movement or both, and/or maintenance of constrained or awkward postures.
