What are the main differences in policy between the democrats and the republicans?

Republicans = profit before people. Democrats = people before profit. Republicans stand for unrestrained capitalism no matter what it does to the fabric of our society (outsourced jobs, artificially low taxes driving our deficit and debt through the roof, their cronies scamming the American people). And of course they fire up the Republican war machine whenever they make up an opportunity to do so.

There is not much difference in policy at all. People in this country tend to “single issue vote” which means pick an issue and go with it. For example, Hillary and McCain are good friends and agree on about 85% of things. The only difference is McCain pretends like is is tough on terrorism while she has said she wants out of Iraq (although she voted to go in) or He wants free market health care she wants single payer health care Those are the differences and the 2 issues that Americans are voting on this election. But they thing Hillary and McCain are so different because they don’t pay attention. Bush has given the republicans a bad name – most do not like him. Republicans use to be very libertarian – obviously Bush and McCain are far from that.

Democrats hate business and are constantly looking for ways to get more money out of them. We have the second highest corporate taxes in the world which is why so many American companies and jobs have left. Republicans believe in the free market and in keeping taxes on everone low to stimulate investment and business all of which creates jobs. Democrats believe that most people are to stupid to take care of themselves so they create big never ending programs that give free handouts. This has been disasterous for anyone that gets on one of these programs and has been especially disasterous for the black family. We have several generations of families who have been relying on the government hand outs. Republicans believe in helping people that are going through tuff times by teaching them to support themselves and their families. Simply put there is a saying that goes: Give a man a fish and you feed him one day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Democrats believe in gi

Of the last question, this will be answered first: to have made McCain’s age an issue is but a hyperbole got up by the television and print media. We should assess that the media generally seldom if ever speak from anything but the consensus ‘within’ the media itself and not that from the overall public. Second, if his age ‘should’ be a problem, which it should not, rest assured the Republican party will make the very best of it, they will have to, for which the stalwarts of the party are now compelled to lessen the stiff, conservative hard line, and for which McCain will find prompted to shift a little more so to the right, which shall prove tricky given that the country does indeed want change, sweeping change, and to which unfortunately or not, the Republican Party has been averse since the Reagan years. Many in the public and the media now have to agree that the country is flat-out sick of the inanities displayed over the course of the past eight years with all the craziness within
