What are the main differences between the QDE Toolkit Version 1 and the QDE Toolkit “Professional” Version 2?

2002-05-13 The main difference addressed by the two Toolkits is the degree of comfort that a user has with correlation coefficients and degrees of freedom. Version 2 will handle normally distributed independent distributions, but will carry these parameters explicitly. If you or your clients are more comfortable without having to carry these explicit parameters, you may wish to continue using Version 1 of the Toolkit (but upgrade to Version 1.15). If you analyze a lot of comparisons, you will probably find it worthwhile to learn to accept these explicit parameters, and upgrade to the Professional Version 2, if only for the extra formatting (comments, units, titles …) and other controls that it provides.
