When we talk about differences, I would like to talk about differences here and in the United States. The system is now making progress with reforms but until 2003 the teaching methods were old fashioned, the teacher was doing all the talking, there were only one or two ways of assessment, there was no technology used in education, and basically the system and the syllabus belonged to 30-40 years ago. In a world that is changing everyday what they learned was useless. That is why people get de-motivated and there are obstacles to university study or job creation. So I came up with the idea of introducing the American type of education which is more up-to-date. We know that not all the kids are same, they don’t have the same goals and basically there is more flexibility in American education versus local education which is not flexible at all.
