What are the main differences between Patpong, Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy?
Patpong is well known the world over since the days of the Vietnam war. It has a lot of bars, located mainly in two parallel streets. It is advised to avoid the bars upstairs in general, unless one is very familiar with the place (some rip offs sometimes occur there) Lots of girls there, drinks are not more expensive there, but reportedly the girls ask for more money for out-of-bar activities, although this rule probably does not apply in the smaller establishments. A lot of bars are under the King’s group which is rather well organized, but as mentioned you may be expected to pay more. Nana Plaza has become very busy over the last few years.
